Do you wish to formulate successful proposals for the EU’s new Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020?

Organization of a 2-day Training Course:

How to benefit from HORIZON 2020 funding
PLAS S.A. organizes 2 training courses for the EU’s new Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020, one in Athens and one in Thessaloniki.
The respective training modules offer you the entire specialized knowledge that will help you to submit successful proposals.

PLAS S.A., a leading company in the field of business development and human resources services, makes use of the 25-year knowledge & experience and the senior human capital of PLANET S.A., the biggest Greek consulting firm that has accomplished more than 200 international projects, including tens of European research & innovation projects.

The new European Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020 has already been launched, will last for 7 years, and will provide a budget of 72 billion Euros to support research and innovation activities from both European Industry and Academia.

The new Programme, unlike the previous ones which were mainly focused on Research and Technological Development, gives much greater emphasis to innovation in industrial applications and support of SMEs. Thus, the Programme introduces the concept of Innovation Project, which is closer to business applications than to research.

Until now, the results indicate that, despite the strong interest from the Greek business community, there is an inability for Greek enterprises, to understand the requirements of the Programme and get properly prepared for better proposal formulation.

The training course aims to provide know- how on:
● Terminology, procedures & mechanisms of Horizon 2020 ● identification, comprehension & evaluation of potential business opportunities ● partnership formulation,
thus resulting to successful submission and efficient implementation!

The training course addresses representatives and executives of Private and Public Organizations and Enterprises interested in exploiting the opportunities of HORIZON 2020.

The modules of the training course include: ❶ structure of HORIZON 2020 ❷ terms of participation and funding ❸ overview of main technological axes and priorities ❹ further analysis of the work programme, the Calls and idea positioning ❺ how to identify appropriate partners & allies to formulate a consortium ❻ how to prepare a winning proposal ❼ principles of proposal evaluation ❽ practical guidelines ❾ administrative & financial project management ❿ case studies ⓫ interactive round tables.

The agenda of the training course per day is the following:
1st day: Familiarization with Horizon 2020 and the work Programme and the Calls, consortium formulation, preparation of proposals (modules ❶,❷,❸,❹,❺,❻,❼,❽).
2nd day: Case studies on successful proposals, fundamental rules of administrative & financial project management, elaboration of specific ideas/ proposals (modules ❾, ❿, ⓫).
